Upon acceptance of an article, authors transfer the copyright to the journal, which grants the journal the exclusive right to publish and distribute the work. Authors are free to use their work in subsequent publications, provided the original source is properly cited. Any use outside of fair use (e.g., for commercial purposes) requires the author's permission.
